If you’re looking for something to brighten up your day, then this story is purrfect for you.
While doing a TV interview for Dutch current affairs program Nieuwsuur, Polish academic Dr. Jerzy Targalski was speaking about the situation that unfolded following the forced retirement of the head of the Polish supreme court, Malgorzata Gersdorf.
However, his cat Lisio thought that it would be the perfect time to interrupt his serious conversation and sit on his owner’s head for the remainder of the interview.
Although the clip didn’t actually air on TV, Reporter Rudy Bouma fortunately managed to record the hilarious blooper and share it Twitter, and the Internet loved it.
Following the social media explosion, Targalski told the news station that this behaviour is common for Lisio as well as his four other cats.
“It’s his way of saying, ‘Good morning,’ or ‘I love you,’ I think,” he explained. “I hope it will happen again next time.”
