Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin could end up getting married in Stratford, Ontario… if the mayor has his way, that is.
Bieber, 24, took to Instagram Monday night to confirm that he had popped the question to Baldwin, 21, and that she’d said yes.
Stratford’s mayor, Dan Mathieson, has now spoken to TMZ to say that he’d “love it” if Bieber was to tie the knot back home.
Mathieson is so desperate for this to happen that he’s even offered the pair free tickets to watch the Stratford Warriors, which is Bieber’s favourite local hockey team, if they chose to get married in the winter.

If they go for a summer wedding, Mathieson has said he can guarantee Biebs a spot in the town’s annual Summer Music festival.
Not ending the treats there, the mayor is also willing to give guests discounted admission to Bieber’s exhibit “Steps to Stardom” at the Stratford Perth Museum.
His comments come after the Canadian musician took to Instagram to gush over his other half, insisting he is “soooo in love” with everything about Baldwin.
