BTS Member Jimin Receives Death Threats Ahead Of September Show In Los Angeles, Agency Responds

BigHit Entertainment, the agency behind Korean K-Pop group BTS, has responded to recent death threats against band member Jimin.

An Instagram user under the name “Buljimic1.1” has continuously posted threatening messages along with disturbing images ahead of BTS’ concert in Los Angeles this September.

“Regardless of the authenticity of the threats, we plan to do our utmost and take all necessary measures in responding to actions that may threaten the safety of the members,” the agency said in a statement. “In the past as well, we made thorough preparations, and the matter was resolved without any actual incident. We plan to prepare while keeping a close eye on the situation.”

This isn’t the first time Jimin has received threats, there were many made ahead of the group’s concert in Anaheim in April 2017 and their Fort Worth concert in May 2018.

BTS is currently on their “Love Yourself”  tour, making three stops in Hamilton, Ont.
