The final season of “Game of Thrones” is still many months away, but the show has already finished shooting and Kit Harington is feeling the loss.
In an interview on BBC Radio 2, the actor who played Jon Snow talked about how his part in its production is over and how it is affecting him.
“I actually just wrapped on Thursday last week,” the actor – who just wed his GoT co-star, Rose Leslie, in real life – said. “It’s been this amazing journey, and I kind of said to them in my wrap speech that it’s always been more than a job. It’s like they were a family and it was my life.”
“I’ve loved every minute. I’ve been quite emotional the last week, thinking about having ended, having finished it,” Harington added.
Harington’s “Game of Thrones” co-star Maisie Williams said her goodbye to the show last week, sharing a photo of fake-bloodstained shoes and the message, “What a joy I’ve had. here’s to the adventures to come.”
While no premiere date has been announced just yet, “Game of Thrones” is scheduled to air its epic final season sometime in 2019.
