July is shaping up to be a great month for British pop-synth band Years & Years.
Having just released their sophomore album “Palo Santo”, which is currently climbing the UK charts, the trio gave fans another treat with a beautiful cover of Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry”.
The performance, which took place at BBC Radio 1’s iconic Live Lounge, takes a unique and soulful turn as lead singer Olly Alexander shows off his impressive vocals in a synth version of Grande’s comeback tune.
Alexander hasn’t been shy when it comes to showing his love for the 25-year-old hitmaker, previously covering “Love Me Harder” from Grande’s 2014 album “My Everything”.
“HAPPY GIAW DAY !!! love u Ari i was so nervous singing your song I pulled scary gollum face all the way through but we had such a blast doing it @ArianaGrande ❤💜🧡💛💚💙,” Alexander said on Twitter of their performance.
Fans of both Years & Years and Grande took to social media to share their love for the cover.
