Actor Corey Sligh is awaiting sentencing after being convicted on charges of child molestation.
The former soap opera extra was convicted by a jury on June 28 of one count of child molestation, while being cleared of another, reported The Atlanta-Journal Constitution.
The conviction came nearly two years after his first arrest in October 2016 after the parents of a female victim under 10-years-old reported the molestation, which took place between April and September of that year.
Sligh was arrested again nearly a month later after police received reports from another girl who he allegedly molested while vacationing with her family during the summer of 2016. He has not yet faced trial in that case.
