Taylor Swift Makes Subtle Dig At Kim Kardashian, Declares National Snake Day Her ‘Favourite Day Of The Year’

Taylor Swift made sure to reference National Snake Day as she took to the stage in Cleveland on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old, who has taken the snake theme to the next level throughout her “Reputation” world tour, seemingly made a dig at Kim Kardashian once again, after the reality TV star made some comments about the singer exactly two years ago.

As Swift belted out “Look What You Made Me Do” while surrounded by her usual array of blow-up snakes, the hitmaker told the crowd: “Happy National Snake Day, my favourite day of the year.”

The performance came a day before the two-year anniversary of Kardashian’s infamous tweet:

Swift fans will remember the brawl back in 2016 when Kanye West and his wife called out the “Bad Blood” singer for saying that she’d given the rapper permission to use her name in his track “Famous”.

The musician’s fans were quick to take to social media Wednesday to urge Kardashian to apologize.

Swift said of the whole thing back in May: “A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on.”

“And then a lot of people called me a lot of names on social media. I went through some really low times for a while because of it. I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was going to get to do this anymore.”

She added, “I wanted to send a message to you guys that if someone uses name-calling to bully you on social media, and even if a lot of people jump on board with it, that doesn’t have to defeat you. It can strengthen you instead.”

“I learned a really important lesson and that has to do with how much you value your reputation. And I think the lesson is that you shouldn’t care so much if you feel misunderstood by a lot of people who don’t know you, as long as you feel understood by the people who do know you.”
