Faith Evans and Stevie J. have officially tied the knot.

A spokesperson for Evans revealed the exciting news to Billboard, following reports from TMZ saying that the couple had filed for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, on July 17.

The R&B singer and the Grammy-winning producer showered each other with love on Twitter following their nuptials.

On top of their surprise summer wedding, the musical couple have also been teasing their upcoming joint single “A Minute” on social media ahead of its release on July 27.

This is the first marriage for Stevie J., 46, who’s best known for his production work on Notorious B.I.G.’s “Life After Death” album. He later appeared on the reality series “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta”, where he was linked to Puerto Rican rapper Joseline Hernandez, who he also shares a daughter with. Their daughter joins Stevie’s five other children.

Before tying the knot to the producer, the 45-year-old “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker was married to The Notorious B.I.G. from 1994 until he was murdered in 1997. She then later got together with record executive Todd Russaw from 1998 to 2011. Evans is also a proud mother of four.
