Former “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiancee Shawn Booth may not be tying the knot just yet, but they did take a big step in their relationship by redesigning their entire Nashville home.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Bristowe explained that her and Booth, 31, never expected to stay put in the home following their move to Nashville after getting engaged on season 11 of the reality dating show.
“We were just renting it because we didn’t know what we were going to do,” Bristowe said. “But once we started decorating, we fell in love. I was like, ‘Wait, I don’t want to leave!'”
Fast forward to 2018, the couple are now proud owners of the home which gave them the opportunity to give it a full-blown makeover with the help of Decorist creative director Jessica McCarthy and Bed Bath & Beyond.
Bristowe took Us inside her stylish new bedroom and office.

The overall aesthetic “is very me,” the Canadian told Us of the redesign. “I honestly never thought I’d have an eye for decor. But Jessica has a vision for me and that’s made it so easy.”

While showing off her gorgeous office decor, the 33-year-old admitted that she rarely holds back while recording her super successful “Off the Vine” podcast. “I’m sure Shawn wishes I had more of a filter. I’ll just go there on any topic!,” she exclaimed.

When it came to the redesign, Bristowe shared that Booth was the one to hold back, letting her take the reigns. “He totally lets me take control. He’s like, ‘I trust you!’”
