Whoopi Goldberg has never been one to keep her opinions to herself, but a report in the New York Post‘s “Page Six” column claims the moderator on “The View” lost her temper big time during a Thursday show taping while arguing about Donald Trump with Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro.
According to “Page Six”, the pair got into an on-air shouting match when Pirro — an ardent Trump supporter — accused Goldberg of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
“I have never seen anybody whip up such hate,” Goldberg fired back, with Pirro responding, “You know what’s horrible? When people who shouldn’t be here end up murdering the children of American citizens!”
That was too much for Goldberg, who replied, “What is horrible is when the president of the United States whips up people to beat the hell out of people … Say goodbye. I’m done!”

The on-air fireworks, however, were reportedly nothing compared with what took place backstage, according to a “Page Six” source.
“Jeanine tried telling her she’s fought for victims her whole life,” said the source. “Whoopi got in her face and said that they’ve known each other a long time, but still, ‘F**k you, get the f**k out of this building.’ Jeanine looked stunned.”
Another source added: “Jeanine could have walked by [Goldberg]. There was one more segment to do. She could have walked by her easily, [but instead] she put her finger in her face and said, ‘I’ve done more for abused women than you will ever do’ and that’s when Whoopi said, ‘You and I have never had a problem,’ before everything else was said.”
TMZ caught up with Pirro after her appearance on “The View”, and she insisted that while has no problem debating others with opposing viewpoints, “I don’t like being mistreated by people who invite you to have a discussion and then treat you like you’re less than human.” Watch:
