Pierce Brosnan has been hard at work promoting “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again”, stopping by to chat with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” Thursday.
Despite the movie going down a storm with most already, Brosnan told the talk show host that not everybody was a fan.
The 65-year-old, who plays the role of Sam in the much-talked-about sequel, discussed the time he went round to show the flick to Barbra Streisand, only to get bitten by her dog.
“Barbra Streisand is a friend, she lives in the same community, so we thought we’d show it to Barbra, [as] she wanted to see it.
“We went over to her house and put the movie on and she said, ‘Come sit beside me, darling.’ I sat beside her and I’m watching the movie thinking, Oh my god, what am I doing? The movie finished and she said, ‘That’s absolutely wonderful darling.’
“I said ‘Thank you so much’ and at that point, her dog Sammy bit my arm.”
Brosnan’s appearance also saw him reveal his love of painting, with him admitting he’d even managed to sell one for a whopping $1.4 million at a charity gala.
