Kurt Sutter fans rejoice.
The “Sons of Anarchy” and “Mayans M.C.” creator revealed the two shows will eventually intersect in their shared world.
Sutter, 58, revealed the news at San Diego Comic-Con. “Right now, there is no intersecting stories. But ‘Sons’ is a big world,” said Sutter — per Deadline. “We’ll see those points of intersection this season and throughout the series as well.”
The director and screenwriter, who also starred as incarcerated club member Otto Delaney in “Sons”, confirmed the two television shows have a “relationship.”
That is big news for fans of “Sons” who have craved more action following the show’s 2014 series finale.
“I want to acknowledge that world and find opportunities to circle that, but I don’t want to abuse it,” Sutter said of the desired crossover. “For now, keep it sacred.”
“Mayans MC” premieres Sept. 4.
