Chelsea Handler took the stage during the second day of OZYFest 2018 and she didn’t hold back while speaking about President Donald Trump, the constitution, and the upcoming U.S. midterm elections.
On Sunday, the 43-year-old comedian and actress took to the OZYFest stage in New York City, alongside New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Karl Rove, the former senior adviser to President George W. Bush.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Handler made it her mission to spread the important message of voting following Trump’s election.
“It’s not all about impeachment. This is an emergency in my opinion,” Handler said. “I’m galvanized to get people out for the polls, and we just have to stand up and make a change in 2018.”

While in discussion with Rove regarding the current administration, Handler got heated, sharing her thoughts on the current president.
“It’s a stain on American history but there is a wave of women and people of colour being elected right now. We need to get the establishment out. Old white men are not reflective of what this country looks like.”
