The new trailer for the upcoming TV adaptation of “The Purge” will have you screaming.

Screened at Comic-Con 2018, the trailer gave fans a glimpse at the new show, which will take place in the same dystopian universe as the past four films, “The Purge”, “The Purge: Anarchy”, “The Purge: Election Year”, and most recently “The First Purge”.
Just like the films, “The Purge” TV series showcases Purge Night, the one night a year all crime is legal and where citizens are encouraged to commit unspeakable acts of violence.
Over the course of the 10-episode series, viewers will follow 12 strangers whose lives intertwine when they are united on Purge Night by a mysterious person.
“The Purge” — starring Jessica Garza, Gabriel Chavarria, and William Baldwin — will premiere on the USA network on September 4.
