Rachel McAdams is in the spirit of giving!
The Canadian-born actress appeared at the Toronto Stock Exchange Wednesday, using her star power to bring attention to CIBC’s Miracle Day. The annual event supports children’s charities across Canada.
As part of the event, McAdams presented a $75,000 donation to her charity of choice, Nanny Angel Network, on behalf of the bank. She also posed for photos, opened the day’s trading, and of course, met with children supported by the incentive.
“It’s incredible,”; she tells ET Canada’s Cheryl Hickey about the event. “Everybody’s come together and there’s so much money being raised. I’m so happy that Nanny Angel Network is going to get great funds to move forward.”;
Since it began in 1984, CIBC Miracle Day has raised over $79 million for kids in need across Canada, and over $228 million around the world.
