John Krasinski Wants ‘The Office’ Reunion: ‘I’m Worried About Jim Halpert’

Count John Krasinski among those who would kill for a followup to “The Office”.

The face of Jim Halpert talked to Variety about his experience on the beloved comedy series and what the future would hold for the show if he had his way.

“People have asked if I’d do a sort of reunion type thing and yes, for exactly that reason,” he said. “I need the incredible writers of that show to tell me what he’s doing because I’m kind of worried about him.

“He had a lot of hopes and dreams and all these different things, he had a bunch of zany ideas and then he went to Austin and the dreams are still in his head, so let’s see what he’s doing now.”

The “A Quiet Place” and upcoming “Jack Ryan” star also reflected on how much he related to his “Office” character. “He was just a guy who wasn’t the coolest guy, wasn’t the least cool guy, he was sort of secure and sort of insecure at times,” Krasinski said of Jim. “So he really felt – to me – like a representation of a lot of people I know, and certainly myself.”

And as a special tribute to fans, Krasinski even ended the segment with the brief fourth-wall-breaking expression his character was famous for.
