Denise Richards has joined the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, it’s been reported.
Actor Jerry O’Connell broke the exciting news as he chatted to E! while promoting his upcoming talk show last month, and now the actress herself has confirmed the news to People.
“I am so excited to join the cast of [RHOBH] as I am a huge fan of the show,” Richards said, added, “I am looking forward to spending time with all the ladies… and hopefully meeting Boy George!!”
Last month, O’Connell shared a pic of him and his wife, Rebecca Romijn, having dinner with Richards and her boyfriend. “We’re very excited,” he said.
“This is just a plot for me to try and get my wife to become one of the housewives on ‘Beverly Hills’. I beg her every season.”
O’Connell’s comments came after Romijn took to Instagram to share the snap in question.
She captioned the photo: “Such an exciting day having lunch with @deniserichards and her hot bf Aaron on the day before her new endeavour (wink wink) Congrats girl! Break legs and have fun!”

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is heading into its ninth season, however, Bravo are yet to announce a release date.
