“It was very small and casual,” Wood told the magazine.

“We can always do something bigger later, but we thought, ‘We love each other, so why wait?’” she added.

The 31-year-old announced her engagement to Ruspoli in November 2017.

Earlier this year, Wood told ET Canada the story of how her now-husband surprised her with a proposal in the same spot they had their first date.

Even before she saw him, Wood clued into the fact of where she was.

“And right when I said that, he walked out and he’s in this suit and got down on one knee,” she said. “And all that time when I said I don’t think I could cry anymore, I’ve been crying for months, the waterworks just came. It was so beautiful and I was completely surprised.”

Wood has starred as Steffy on “The Bold and the Beautiful” since 2008.
