Everybody loves Jon Hamm… except for Ray Romano.
Appearing on Thursday’s edition of “The Tonight Show”, the former “Everybody Loves Raymond” star took issue with an impression Hamm had made of him on the show a few months ago. To rub salt in the wounds, Jimmy Fallon replayed the clip in which the “Mad Men” actor brilliantly impersonated Romano on the golf course.
“If you think about it, it’s like a double insult, because he’s making fun of my voice and he’s making fun of my golf game,” the 60-year old comedian commented. “I don’t make that many bad shots!”
While Fallon failed to hold back his laughter, Romano continued his rant. “Here’s what really pisses me off about it, he’s handsome and he’s funny, that son of a b***h,” he joked.
Not to be outdone, Romano performed his own impression of Hamm playing golf, and it was pretty accurate.
Romano was also on the show to talk about his role in the TV series “Get Shorty”, based on the 1990 Elmore Leonard novel of the same title. The second season premieres next week.
