“Big Brother” served up its fifth eviction episode of the 20th season Thursday, and this week’s victim was Rachel Swindler, the 29-year-old Vegas entertainer who was blindsided when her own alliance turned on her.
Rachel spoke with ET Canada on the morning after her dramatic eviction, and it’s clear she’s still shocked by Angela’s unexpected betrayal and that scathing goodbye video, in which she slammed their “final two” alliance as “irrelevant.”

So what happened to make Angela turn on her friend and ally?
“That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out,” says Rachel. “I think that somebody got in her head. The Angela that I was friends with in the house, the Angela that told me that she was all-in with me until the end, ride or die, I want to believe that was genuine from her, and that something happened in the past couple of days to make her question my loyalty.
“But why she wouldn’t just come to me and talk to me about it, I’m just not sure, ’cause I was loyal to her, I told her everything, I trusted her. I put all of my trust into Angela.
“I don’t know, I think someone got in her head. And I think that something was twisted into making it look like I made some type of deal that would guarantee me solo safety, I don’t frickin’ know. I don’t know what happened that she would be that rude to me, honestly, and I hope she gets what’s coming to her… and I hope I can say a few choice words to her on finale night.”

While Rachel may be unsure of what happened with Angela, she can spot Tyler’s fingerprints all over her eviction.
“I think this was definitely spearheaded by Tyler, Tyler and Brett, and they got in Kaycee and Angela, and they all told Kaycee and Sam and they do whatever they say and that’s what happened. I just think that Tyler wanted me to go home, and he spearheaded it,” she says.
Looking back, Rachel now wonders if her oversized personality may have placed a target on her back. “Things I do can be taken as being big or too much or over the top, but I’m just me. That’s just who I am,” she says. “I think that maybe they thought I wasn’t a strong ally at the end of the day, or maybe I was bringing too much attention to myself. I’m not sure.”

Rachel also has some harsh words for Brett. “He is egotistical and selfish… he probably came up with this idea, or somebody told him about this idea, and he ran with it,” she says of her eviction. Addressing Brett directly: “Great job with your speech, way to throw a female under the bus, shows your character. His character’s shining pretty brightly right now. It’s his gameplay: to play dirty, I guess, and that’s not me. I have no words regarding Brett anymore.”
As for who should make it to the end, Rachel is clear on who shouldn’t be there. “I’m not rooting for Brett or Angela. I hope they get out extremely fast,” she says. “They’re both boring. Angela’s boring to watch, so she needed to be gone. Brett’s playing the game but he’ll be out soon… he’s not gonna win this game.”
