After this weekend, the Marvel blockbuster will likely become only the third film ever to make over $700 million at the box office in the U.S. and Canada.
The two films ahead of “Black Panther” are “Avatar”, which brought in nearly $750 million, and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which grossed over $900 million.
At the global box office, “Black Panther” has pulled in an incredible $1.35 billion, putting it at No. 9 on the all-time worldwide box office charts.
