Johnny Depp’s upcoming thriller about the Notorious B.I.G. murder has been pulled from the release calendar only a month before it was set to debut.
“City of Lies” had been scheduled for release Sept. 7, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, that release has been pushed back with no new date set.
Originally titled “Labyrinth”, the film has faced troubles recently, with a crew member filing a suit against Depp in July, alleging the actor had punched him twice during the shoot, and that he was later fired for refusing to agree not to sue.
That month, Depp also settled a $25 million suit against his former business managers.
Depp has also faced continued blowback over allegations that he had physically assaulted his ex-wife Amber Heard in 2014.
Meanwhile, Depp’s appearance in the “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is still set for release as planned on Nov. 16.
