Ellie Goulding and boyfriend Caspar Jopling are engaged, with the couple revealing the happy news in an announcement in The Times.
As Metro reports, the announcement was made in the venerable British newspaper’s “Births, Marriages and Deaths” section.
‘”Mr C.W.F. Jopling and Miss E.J. Goulding,” reads the headline of the announcement.
“The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Hertfordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midland,” the announcement continued, with the singer using her birth name of Elena.
Goulding, 31, has been dating the 26-year-old art dealer for 18 months; she shared an engagement photo on Instagram.
“The couple wanted to tell friends and family first and people won’t notice because her name is Elena,” a source told The Sun.
“She’s over the moon and has never felt so happy,” the source added.
