THR is back with their annual Women In Entertainment Power 100 list — highlighting powerful women across all sectors of the entertainment business, featuring a few surprises and plenty of newcomers.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan’s reign continues with its surprise entry into the exclusive list. All six of the female are touted by the magazine for their money-making abilities, business savvy and social media prowess.

Also new to the list is comedian Amy Schumer, who had a blockbuster year with her film Trainwreck and continued success on her Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer. The actress has also nabbed herself a $9 million deal for an upcoming book.
Other multi-talented actresses who nabbed a spot include Elizabeth Banks, Cate Blanchett, Taraji P. Henson, Ellen DeGeneres, Lena Dunham, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Shonda Rhimes, Viola Davis, Kerry Washington, Melissa McCarthey, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon.
Lesser known powerhouse names who made it onto the list include Selma Director, Ava DuVernay, VP of original content at Netflix Cindy Holland, The Hunger Games Producer Nina Jacobson, President of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, Orange is The New Black writer and producer Jenji Kohan, 007 producer Barbara Broccoli.
