MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle has become the latest news presenter to suffer an embarrassing on-air blooper.
The broadcaster, 42, was talking about the California wildfires when she accidentally said the word “farting” instead of “fighting.”
Ruhle immediately apologized for her mistake but looked like she might burst out laughing at any minute despite clearly attempting to keep a straight face.
Unsurprisingly, the gaffe sparked quite the reaction on social media, with many insisting the whole thing made them love the NBC news correspondent even more.

One person said Ruhle deserved “some sort of award” for managing to hold it together, while another praised the anchor for acting so professional while making the mistake in the middle of reporting on a serious segment.
