Drake just beat out his fellow recording artists as the first in history to surpass 50 billion global streams.
According to his recording company, Drizzy and his viral track “In My Feelings” — off his new album “Scorpion” — helped the Canadian rapper set this impressive new record.

“In My Feelings” is continuing its reign on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while the album has also been dominating in its fifth week at #1 on the Billboard 200.
According to Billboard, “Scorpion” was the first album to hit 1 billion streams globally in a single week. It also beat the single-day streaming record on both Spotify and Apple Music, and has the biggest week for an album in 2018 so far.

Champagne Papi is also getting close to nabbing another accolade; he’s about to surpass Taylor Swift’s record for the most times atop the Billboard Artist 100 chart.
