Nick Carter has the full support of the Backstreet Boys in light of a rape accusation against him.
Fellow boy bandmate Brian Littrell told TMZ he believes Carter is being unfairly targeted. “Unfortunately, there are fame seekers that are out there,” he said. “In this situation, he’s been forthright and honest with us, and we have to stand beside our bandmate. That’s all we can do.”
“We will have to assess that bridge when we get there,” continued Littrell. “I honestly don’t feel like it will be there.”
Carter, 38, was accused of rape by Dream singer Melissa Schuman in February and the case is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles County District Attorney.
