Dr. Meena Makhijani said Nichols has “moderate progressive dementia” and that she has been a patient of hers for two to three years, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

The actress’ symptoms reportedly include “major impairment of her short-term memory and moderate impairment of understanding abstract concepts, sense of time, place and immediate recall.”

Fortunately, the 85-year-old actress seems to have no apparent impairment for long-term memory, comprehension, concentration or verbal communication.
