John Mayer’s Los Angeles-area home was like a wonderland for burglars, who reportedly broke in and walked off with between $100,000 and $200,000 of the musician’s stuff.
As Los Angeles CBS affiliate KCAL reports, burglars apparently broke into Mayer’s Beverly Crest home at approximately noon on Friday; Mayer was not home at the time.
“Unconfirmed reports say the burglar or burglars broke into the home by smashing a window,” notes KCAL, adding that police have stated “the suspect(s) then ransacked the home.”

Among the items reportedly stolen are music equipment and personal property valued at between $100,000 and $200,000, including Mayer’s extensive watch collection. A security guard noticed a home in the window had been broken and called police.
No suspects have yet been identified; the perpetrator (or perpetrators) remain at large.
