Last night’s edition of The Late Show brought viewers a special Daily Show reunion when host Stephen Colbert was interrupted mid-monologue by his former boss Jon Stewart.
Stewart has been on a media blitz this week to urge Congress to renew a bill that’s been held up for years that would help pay the medical costs of 9/11 first responders suffering health issues due to their service, but has been squelched by lawmakers over what Stewart has called “purely political reasons.”;

In the clip, Colbert doesn’t think Stewart is getting his point across forcefully enough, and urges him to “Trump it up,”; plopping a ridiculous mop-like wig on his head and using the powder from a bag of Doritos to colour his face with Trump’s Oompa Loompa-hued orange skin tone.
With some urging from Colbert, Stewart launched into his best Donald Trump impression: “These 9/11 first responders, let me tell you something, these 9/11 first responders are the most top-notch, first-class, diamond-encrusted heroes America can produce,”; Trump-Stewart said. “I will build a wall around politics and I will make politics pay for it.”; On a mobile device?
