Carly Rae Jepsen Brings Out Viral Wig-Throwing Dancer On Stage

Carly Rae Jepsen is wigging out!

The Canadian singer-songwriter had a special treat for concertgoers at the 2018 Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco on Friday.

Jepsen, 32, welcomed out wig-throwing dancer Mark Kanemura during her set for some, well, wig-throwing and dancing.

Kanemura gained Internet fame for his fierce and captivating routine to the tune of Jepsen’s “Cut to the Feeling”, which generated more than 1.3 million Instagram views since June 15.

He first gained attention on “So You Think You Can Dance” and as a member of Lady Gaga’s dance troupe. He reacted to the once-in-a-lifetime experience with Jepsen on Instagram, expressing joy and thanking the “Call Me Maybe” singer.

“YOU GUYS!!!!!!!! this happened today,” he captioned one post. “This is me instagramming from my grave.” In another he wrote, “Thank you @carlyraejepsen for letting me share in this moment with you and for creating music that uplifts and inspires freedom, love, and happiness.”

Canadian fans can next catch Jepsen at Riverfest Elora in Elora on Aug. 18.
