Thomas Ravenel has lost his “southern charm”.

The former state treasurer announced he was leaving the Bravo reality show after five seasons via Twitter on Tuesday.

“In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me,” Ravenel explained. “I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.”

Ravenel, 56, is currently facing accusations of sexual assault from multiple women, allegations that were made public three months ago. The reality star was subsequently absent from the “Southern Charm” season 5 reunion special taped in June.

“Along with Bravo, our client made the mutual decision not to attend today’s reunion taping as there is a pending investigation,” his attorney said at the reunion. “Our client is fully cooperating with authorities on that investigation. He expects to be completely vindicated once the investigation is concluded. He sends his best regards to his fans and his fellow castmates.”

Ravenel is one of only four “Southern Charm” cast members to appear in a main role across all five seasons.
