Courtney Hadwin, a 14-year-old singer, received the Golden Buzzer on “America’s Got Talent”, but that should be expected.
And that is because Hadwin, who was described on the program as an extremely shy girl from England, has significant performance experience.

Not only was she a top-6 finalist on U.K.’s “The Voice Kids”, but she also played Cosette in Les Miserables on stage.
Hadwin was awarded the Golden Buzzer from Canadian judge Howie Mandel for her rendition of Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle”.

Her professional background came to the attention of many on social media following Tuesday’s wowing performance of James Brown‘s “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag”.
The young singer’s grandfather defended her when speaking to DailyMail: “We always believed she would do well in the U.S.A. We knew they would get it in a way that the U.K. didn’t. We knew she would go down a storm over there.”
