Nearly five years after his passing, Paul Walker’s brothers Cody Walker and Caleb Walker are open to reprising the actor’s “The Fast and the Furious” role.
“I think there would potentially be a way to do it,” says Cody to the Associated Press. “But, it would take a lot of thought and it would have to be tasteful.”

Caleb adds, “I just hope we get to – I don’t know – have a little cameo and bring Paul back to save the day and I can help create that again. That’s my dream and I hope we get to do that in one of the future movies.”
Following Paul’s sudden death in a car crash in November 2017, “Furious 7” producers asked Cody and Caleb to step in for their late brother’s fictional franchise role as Brian O’Conner to create an alternative film ending.
Recalling the experience, Cody says, “It’s really a weird thing to be asked to portray your brother who died five months ago playing another character in a movie. It’s totally crazy.”
Caleb adds that the brothers, who have since both become fathers themselves, have not re-watched the film since its premiere in April 2015.

“I think one day, when our kids are little older and we are able to share that experience with them,” Caleb begins by stating. “That’s when I think it will really hit that I think it was really worth it and special and all that.”
Looking at the franchise since Paul’s death, Cody adds, “He was the real deal. The real car guy. You know and in his absence I think it’s lost its way in a big way.”
