After more than a year of tight-lipped silence as more than 50 women came forward to relate stories of being drugged and raped by Bill Cosby, the disgraced TV icon is breaking his silence by firing back in an incendiary lawsuit in which he accuses seven of his alleged victims of engaging in a co-ordinated attack campaign designed to ruin him just as he was on the cusp of a TV comeback that was to include a Netflix standup special and a new NBC sitcom.

According to TMZ, the bombshell lawsuit finds Cosby filing countersuits against the seven women who are suing him, claiming they made “malicious, opportunistic, false and defamatory accusations of sexual misconduct against him.”;
Cosby is further claiming he suffered extreme “emotional distress”; from the claims of Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angelea Leslie, and states their claims that he drugged and then sexually assaulted them are entirely untrue.

Furthermore, Cosby claims the women’s motivation was to “torpedo”; his upcoming TV comeback by fabricating these claims in hopes he’d pony up big-bucks settlements, claiming they just want his money.
In addition, Cosby’s countersuit blasts the women’s “morally repugnant conduct”; in making their false accusations, which he says have caused him shame and mortification.
