Kendall Jenner is feeling the heat after revealing why she has chosen to be more selective about her runway gigs.
As part of her cover story for LOVE magazine’s 10th-anniversary issue, the 22-year-old model was quoted opening up about why she has chosen to walk in fewer fashion shows and her response did not sit well with fellow models.
In an Instagram post from the magazine, which showed Jenner posing topless with a string of pearls, she said, “Since the beginning, we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f**k those girls do. More power to ’em.”
She reportedly continued, “But, I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.”

While Jenner admitted that the hectic lifestyle had her “on the verge of a mental breakdown,” many models have been firing back at the model’s quote, explaining that most models do not have the luxury of limiting their number of shows.
Victoria’s Secret model Jac Jagaciak replied in the comments, “This makes me so angry… So disrespectful to literally 99 per cent of people in the industry – yes, they had to work their way up. Please get in touch with the real world.”

Meanwhile, Russian supermodel Daria Strokous shared a screenshot of the magazine’s post on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Whatever the f**k those girls do is do their very best to make their way up and try to make some money so that they can provide for themselves and their families.”
Jenner responded to the outrage in a series of tweets, insisting she was misrepresented and her words taken out of context.
