Aretha Franklin’s Granddaughter Pays Emotional Tribute To Star, Shares Video Of Her Singing Months Before Her Death

Aretha Franklin’s granddaughter Victorie has tweeted an emotional tribute to her grandmother after she died last Thursday, aged 76.

Victorie shared an adorable clip of Franklin singing and playing the piano. In the heartfelt post, she wrote, “Today we lost an icon, a legend, but today I lost my grandma.”

The clip was dated March 17, 2018, and was filmed just months before Franklin’s death.

It was recently revealed that the Queen of Soul would be laid to rest on August 31.
