Israel Broussard has issued an apology after old, controversial tweets resurfaced online.
Broussard, 24, who stars in the Netflix movie “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before”, insisted on Twitter that he was “deeply sorry” for his “inappropriate and insensitive words and likes” and took “full responsibility” for his actions.

Broussard’s comments come after tweets, including one in which he says the Black Lives Matter movement has one goal: “Division”, emerged online.
The star also liked messages by many controversial social media users.
