‘Sesame Street’: Bert And Ernie Rap Their Life Story In Epic ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’ Parody

“Sesame Street” bosses put a whole new spin on the much-loved children’s show as they re-create Will Smith’s intro from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” in an epic new parody clip.

Show favourites Bert and Ernie can be seen telling fans their life stories in the video, with them kicking things off by rapping: “Won’t take long, just a minute you see. We’ll tell you how we became Bert and Ernie.”

The song then goes on to tell the tale of how they “met a grouch who didn’t smell too good,” with them also singing about turned up eyebrows and having “a banana in my ear.”

The muppets then rap: “On ‘Sesame Street’ born and raised/Learning letters, numbers – singing ‘Sunny Days’.”

The clip comes after Oscar the Grouch fired back at Big Bird on Twitter last month.

Fans immediately took to social media to discuss the insult, with Big Bird calling Oscar “my friend” before he was promptly shut down.
