This fall will bring the third season of Amazon’s alternate-reality drama “The Man in the High Castle”, set in a world in which the Nazis won the Second World War, with most of America becoming part of the Third Reich.

Amazon Prime Video has just released the official trailer for the new season, which features up-and-coming Berlin-based artist Lxandra’s reimagined cover of the U2 hit “Pride (In the Name of Love)”. According to Amazon, this marks the first time the band have allowed that particular song to be covered and used commercially.

“‘Pride (In the Name of Love)’ is a powerful, emotional and cross-generational song of political resistance, and it is a natural fit for ‘The Man in the High Castle’,” said Mike Benson, Amazon Studios’ head of marketing. “This song ties in perfectly to themes in season 3, including those of hope, heroism and the importance of fighting for the world that you want.”

In the third season, Juliana Crain (Alexa Davalos) grapples with her destiny after seeking safety in the Neutral Zone, working with Trade Minister Tagomi (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) to get to the bottom of the last remaining films. Meanwhile, Obergruppenfuhrer John Smith (Rufus Sewell) is celebrated by Nazi high society even as North American Reischsmarschall Lincoln Rockwell and J. Edgar Hoover plot against him — and he discovers a shocking and ambitious new Nazi program that has ramifications both global and personal.

Season 3 of “The Man in the High Castle” will premiere on Oct. 5; filming on the fourth season will begin production in Vancouver in September.
