What do you get for the rapper who has everything?
That was the conundrum for Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena when Drake performed at the venue on two consecutive nights — Tuesday, Aug. 21 and Wednesday, Aug. 22 — and it the decision was made to give a gift to Drizzy after his hometown shows.
Any old gift would not do, and Scotiabank Arena staff got extra creative. The result: a customized game of Monopoly, with the special “North Side Edition” dedicated to commemorating his amazing music career.

As Billboard reports, the board is designed in signature black and gold, with Drake’s visage adorning the Monopoly money alongside the faces of OVO sidekicks Noah “40” Shebib and Olive El-Khatib.
In addition, notes Billboard, the board features more than 100 Drake-centric references, including Toronto’s Sotto Sotto restaurant (a Drake favourite) and Kennedy Station, where he recorded some of his early music.
Other members of Drake’s inner circle to show up on Monopoly cards in this special edition include his dad, Dennis Graham, and bodyguard Baka Not Nice. Meanwhile, the playing pieces are also reflective of Champagne Papi’s interests, including pieces in the shape of a Nike Air Jordan sneaker, the wheelchair of his “Degrassi” character and a Bugatti Veyron.
