Kim Kardashian is quite the fashionista but she’s now taken things to a whole new level.
The 37-year-old took to Instagram Monday to show off her new alien-style neck “growth.” The lights had been installed underneath her skin and programmed to glow to the rhythm of her heartbeat.
Kardashian made sure to say thank you to A. Human in the short clip. The company was founded by Simon Huck and has been causing a stir online for a while now.
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long before Kardashian’s millions of followers had their say on her latest favourite trend, with many labelling the skin-like necklace “creepy.”

This certainly isn’t the first time a celeb has got on board with the bizarre trend, with Chrissy Teigen, “Queer Eye” star Tan France, and transgender supermodel Andreja Pejic wearing some of the designs.
Creator Huck recently said, according to Vogue: “We didn’t want to root any of our modifications on the idea of existing insecurities or discomforts.
“A. Human is about the freedom to explore this world and live in this world in any way you choose.”
He added, “When you think of the future, you think dark, dystopian—there are all these images that come to mind. I didn’t want to create a utopian world but I definitely wanted to create a world that was optimistic or, at the bare minimum, neutral.
“We wanted to use the future of fashion and the future of self-expression as a way to look at the future. That is how the ethos of A. Human formed.”
