Paul Haggis has hit back against the ongoing sexual assault allegations made against him.

According to court documents obtained by People, the 65-year-old Canadian admitted to receiving oral sex from publicist Haleigh Breest but insisted it was consensual.

He also called the allegations “shocking and scandalous claims of fiction,” which he “vehemently denies.”

Haggis is also said to have stated the pair “mutually and voluntarily removed certain items of each other’s clothing.”

The latest news in the case comes after Breest sued the Oscar-winning director in December, accusing Haggis of raping her after she accepted his offer to drive her home following a 2013 movie premiere.

It was reported last month that a judge wasn’t buying Haggis’ claims that the allegations were false.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Haggis’ lawyer Christine Lepera also said there was no $9-million “hush” demand like Breest’s representatives claimed.

“I never agreed to have settlement discussions,” said Lepera. “It became clear it was extortion. When you threaten litigation on a false rape allegation in this climate, it’s outrageous. We all know rape is outrageous. This is equally outrageous.”
