Serena Williams is here to remind you she’s a queen… with the help of Nicki Minaj.

The tennis superstar and rapper appear in the new Beats By Dre ad, “Queen Of Queens”, with a special introduction from Nas.

The new spot sees Williams in a literal tug of war between two sides: mom and athlete. Of course, she can be both of those things and more as she and a cast of dancers take to the streets to “Majesty” by Minaj featuring Eminem and Labrinth before getting her well-deserved crown.

“Women are so often pressured to define themselves as one thing or another — a wife, a mother, an athlete or a career woman,” Williams said in a statement. “But we are so much more than the boxes we place ourselves in. And like all women, what makes me a true queen is all these things… and then some. Nicki and I loved collaborating with Beats by Dr. Dre on this powerful concept because it encourages all of us to think bigger and beyond limits or boundaries. It’s an inspiring message that celebrates what’s possible when we embrace being a queen.”

The Minaj soundtrack is from her new album Queen, which charts her rise in a male-dominated industry. The ad drops just as Williams advances in the US Open.
