P.K. Subban made the day of some sick kids in Montreal Children’s Hospital when he teamed up with Air Canada to transform the hospital’s atrium into a spectacular holiday wonderland.

In a video posted on Twitter, the Montreal Canadiens dons a pair of footie pyjamas while the kids are invited into the atrium to wrap gifts, having no idea they’re about to step into a glittering holiday experience that includes everything from presents to face-painting, with Subban himself painting the children’s faces.

Earlier this year, the NHL superstar made headlines when he made a $10 million donation (more than 15 per cent of his salary over the next seven years) to the hospital, which named the atrium after him.
