Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell play a duelling biological dad and stepfather (respectively) in the new comedy Daddy’s Home, but is there any residual animosity from their roles that has spilled over into real life?

That’s what BBC Radio 1 host Scott Mills wanted to find out when he welcomed the pair as guests, and had them compete in a schoolyard insult contest, with the first one to make the other laugh declared the winner.

Wahlberg starts off slow by telling Ferrell, “You’re not a nice person,”; but the gloves come off when he calls Ferrell “a poor man’s Mike Myers,”; with Ferrell swinging back and connecting with this gem: “If I was on a desert island and had a choice between eating a Wahlburger or a raw, dead fish, I’d eat the dead fish.”;

Ferrell’s jibes about New Kids on the Block and Wahlberg’s former Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch compadre Ashey Ace are what finally get him to crack, bringing Ferrell the victory. Watch:
