There is nothing wrong with doing honest work to pay the bills.
A woman spotted former “Cosby Show” star Geoffrey Owens working a cash register and took the story to Daily Mail.

“It made me feel really bad,” said Karma Lawrence. “I was like, ‘Wow, all those years of doing the show and you ended up as a cashier?'”
But many celebrities jumped to Owens’ defence, insisting there is no shame in making an honest living.
James Woods tweeted, “And he’s making more money than Cosby these days. Good for him. Now maybe some casting director will take note of a fine man who swallows his pride and is willing to work.”
Former “Entertainment Tonight” co-host Nischelle Turner said she once applied for a job at Target between TV opportunities.

And “Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman sounded off on the reports in an NSFW rant. “So the f**k what?” she said. “He was doing what he needed to do to for his family.”
