New TV Biopic About Bobby Brown Depicts Affair With Janet Jackson

A new biopic about singer Bobby Brown gives viewers an inside look at his alleged affair with Janet Jackson.

“The Bobby Brown Story”, a two-part BET movie about the New Edition singer, had its premiere in Los Angeles last week, and reports from those in attendance revealed that a scene in the film depicts the aftermath of the affair.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, the scene in questions shows Janet Jackson, played by Normani, naked in bed with Brown, played by Woody McClain, after having sex.

In the film, Brown then kicks Jackson out of his hotel room after she says she is not in love with him.

Brown originally described the scene in his 2016 memoir, writing, “I exploded and I threw her out.”

“I fell in love with [Janet] when she was Penny on Good Times,” the 49-year-old told Us Weekly when the memoir came out. “It goes back that far, you know, my infatuation with her.”

He added that, “She loved me but wasn’t in love with me.”

“The Bobby Brown Story” is set to air Sep. 4 and 5.
