Adam Lambert and Queen started their three-week residency in Las Vegas over the weekend featuring performances of the band’s classic songs, plus a special surprise cover.

During their show on Saturday, Lambert and Queen performed a rockin’ rendition of Elvis Presley’s classic 1956 hit “Heartbreak Hotel”.

The show opened with the band doing a unique take on Queen’s “We Will Rock You”, and later they played the song again for the encore, followed by “We Are the Champions, along with a special tribute to Freddie Mercury.

Lambert was made the frontman for Queen in 2011 and has toured with the band often over the years since.
