‘Bachelor In Paradise’: Jared Haibon Proposes To Ashley Iaconetti In Romantic Teaser

Can you feel the love tonight?

The answer will be a resounding “Yes!” to anyone who watches Monday night’s edition of “Bachelor in Paradise”, which features the long-awaited moment when Jared Haibon drops to one knee on a sandy Mexican beach, waves crashing, and asks Ashley Iaconetti if she’ll be his wife. (No spoilers here: the couple have already announced their engagement, with Iaconetti showing off her engagement ring throughout the summer.)

And while viewers know it’s coming, the couple’s “Bachelor in Paradise” co-stars were left in the dark, according to a clip from the episode shared on Twitter.

“They have the date card,” host Chris Harrison explains to the rest of the “BiP” crew, setting up the surprise. “We’re going to set them up down at the beach, each of you will go and talk to them and at the end of the day they’re going to decide who gets that date.”

Once they arrived on the beach, Harrison revealed the true purpose of their visit. “So guys, this is not the reason Ashley and Jared are here. They’re here for a completely different reason,” he says.

Haibon then launches into his proposal. “Three years ago we met right at this spot. On this very beach. I don’t ever want another day to go by that I don’t kiss you and tell you how beautiful you are and how much you mean to me,” he tells her.

“You’d make me the happiest man alive if I had the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with you,” he adds, getting down on one knee as the rest of the cast — including Iaconetti’s ex, former “Bachelorette Canada” suitor Kevin Wendt — look on.

“Yes!” she replied. “You’re my soulmate and I love you.” Watch:
